Hello, my name is Monica.  I am happily married to Jack, together we have four children, Colby, Hunter, Jailyn, Jace and one grandchild, Carter.  I have been in the nursing field since 2004 and am currently practicing as a primary care Nurse Practitioner. My certifications and degrees have been obtained from various schools, including, Santa Fe College, Florida Gateway College, Tallahassee Community College, Walden University, and Chamberlain University.  Locally, I am a member of Christ Central church in Lake City and the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce. State and Nationally I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and The National Society of Leadership and Success.  My national certification was obtained through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  I have worked in various roles throughout my career, some of which have included long-term care, home health care, hospital nursing on a medical/surgical floor, correctional nursing, aesthetic nurse injector, and primary care for a local practice. I have a passion for helping patients reach the best version of themselves. I have experience with chronic disease management, women's health, hormone replacement, and joint care.  My mission is for healthcare to be convenient and available to everyone at an affordable price. I pride myself on “thinking outside the box” with utilizing alternative therapies, and traditional Western medicine options.
